Ah the typical infinite regress. It’s the typical case of the annoying kid who keeps incessantly asking ‘Why?’
We can do this with literally anything: Why is the sky blue? What is a table? How do you go to work?
Interestingly the 19-20th German philosophers have attempted to address this issue. Kant, for instance, believes that there’re limits to our knowledge. So, for this ‘where am I?’ question, we can only go so far as to say, ‘we’re at some place in the universe.’ Once we attempt to exceed that limit, we are mere speculating. That is, we don’t really know anything beyond this.
