Hmm, I’m not sure this is entirely true. While you’re right that most atheists and agnostics make negative claims about God (i.e. ‘criticize a claim’), they also make positive claims about God.

While it is true some arguments are derived from the ‘burden of proof’ (there is no reason to believe in God), many arguments aren’t (there are reasons to not believe in God).
