I don’t think this is a fair analysis. Usually, we would buy the console because we want to play certain games. We don’t just get the console for its own sake. Furthermore, I’d do my research before getting games. Are they good? What are the reviews? I follow certain franchises: final fantasy, monster hunter, resident evil. So if those games pop up in a new console, I’d considering getting it.

The console’s instrumental to the game. Not the other way round. I’ve spent over 200 hours on my switch just on Monster Hunter Rise and Stories 2. Is it worth it? Yes.
