Interesting read. I do have several thoughts though.

  1. What do you mean by ‘equality’ here? It seems that your discussing about the disparity in knowledge. However, I would think that everyone has some form of basic access to the knowledge of college application? Each college has a PR department that handles this? It’s not like the Ivy League colleges are hiding from plain sight.
  2. You also seem to discuss ‘equality’ in terms of equality of outcome. I’d expect that even if everyone gets a chance at education, there’ll still be disparity between the strong and the weak. So, do you mean ‘equality’ here as equal access to education, or equal outcomes?
