I'm glad that you're with me here. My employer has been deliberately withholding these information from me for a very long time despite my trying to get that information. I found out in the end when clients divulge the charges to me. We both found it unfair.
Many people whom I've spoken to don't think we have the right to probe into other people's businesses. But when the percentage is so skewed, I think it's only fair that the employee knows where that 86% goes to.
And I'm also glad you realize that you realize many employers right now hold most of the cards. It doesn't make a fair employment market. As levelling information are systematically being withheld from employees. It's always a zero-sum game.
