it's a paradox rooted in many cultures and societies. Cheating is bad in itself. But it can be instrumentally good. Therein lies the paradox. It's the same as lying. We all lie every day. But we treat it as taboo. Because lying is intrinsically bad. The act itself feels repulsive to us. But sometimes, lying can bring about good things. So, it can be instrumentally good.
