It's interesting that you've discussed the role of trust when conceptualizing the truth. But is "trust" really synonymous to "faith?" I would think not. Ethically, when I say, "I trust you," I'm actually expecting an obligation from someone. E.g. "I trust you not to cheat." But this ethical aspect of "trust" is absent in "faith." We don't expect any moral obligation from God, right?

On a side note, I'd really love for you to respond to one of latest pieces. There, like and unlike you, I discuss the role of trust in the "God debate." I'd like to see what you think.
