That’s what’s happening right now with my work. I teach at a private establishment. Clients are finding me straight away. I charge them at HALF the price. Or rather, the center charges them at TWICE the price. What irks me further is now inhuman the owners and staff could get. We’re teachers, goddamnit, we can’t be treated like commodities. Students are humans too, we can’t treat their education as commodities. And parents should know better. I’m grateful to those who’ve pulled the leech.

As for your case, that’s exactly what I’m pinpointing at. It makes you wonder WTF does that 50% go to other than those who made that set possible. Whether the retailers are fine with it, I would feel indignant about it.
